7. How do I get my license?

To obtain a cosmetology license in your province, you will need to fulfill the specific requirements set by the licensing board. These requirements typically include completing a cosmetology program or find an employer and get registered as an apprentice, accumulating a certain number of practical hours, and passing a licensing exam.

Kulture Institute provides you with certificate of completion, necessary training and education in Afro Textured Haircare and Design, but the licensing process is managed by the provincial licensing board.

 

8. Requirements to attend Kulture Institute

You will need to meet the minimum age requirement and have a high school diploma or equivalent. All our natural hair coloring course, Afro Chemical hair alteration courses and hair cutting programs, require you to be a registered apprentice or a journey person to enroll as a student.

9. Is the program live or recorded?

Our programs are a combination of live and recorded sessions.
