As a hair stylist of over 15 years, I had never worked on Afro texture hair. At Kulture Institute I learned about braiding techniques, the different textures of hair and more. Gladys is a great teacher. I love her energy and she made learning fun and enjoyable.

I know how to braid but in my life, I had never done haircuts or hair colouring. In the school, I learned how to shampoo and prepare the hair, the right hair products. That training really helped me a lot. It was  a big learning but I’m so proud of myself. I now work for Gladys and I’m so happy.

This course taught  me how to properly style and maintain Afro texture hair. I thought I wasn’t able to braid, but I was able to learn the techniques very quickly. I think this program is very good for people who are really passionate about hairstyling and improving their skills.
